Chris Lambert joined the Gift Development Group in May 2015. Before joining The Gift, Chris worked for the National Audubon Society as a development associate focusing on annual fund, major gift prospecting, fundraising data analytics, and stewardship in North Carolina. Chris graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and History. While at Carolina, Chris established a student led development leadership team to assist with fundraising at UNC-Chapel Hill’s Newman Center, and in this capacity managed the implementation of Blackbaud systems for fundraising and communications.
Chris loves working with clients to find donors whose philanthropic interests align with the good work that all of our clients do. He particularly likes working with our higher education clients, because he believes that education serves as a tool for furthering equality and human rights and helps to break cyclical injustice. Other causes he cares deeply about are immigrant and refugee rights, global human rights, and rural poverty.
Chris has a passion for travel and different cultures, and does his best to spend his free time on the road or in the air, especially when it gives him the chance to sample vegetarian cuisine.
